Biography
I am a Professor and Head (Chair) of the Department of Marketing at Monash University, Australia. My current research examines consumer well-being in the domains of responsible consumption, healthcare, DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) and services marketing.
My research has been published in UTD journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, and Journal of Marketing Research, and in FT50 journals such as Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Venturing, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
In recognition of my research and teaching accomplishments, I have received both the ANZMAC Distinguished Marketing Researcher (2019) and ANZMAC Distinguished Marketing Educator (2018) awards. I have previously taught at the University of Queensland, Peking University, and the National University of Singapore.
I obtained my PhD at the University of Washington, Seattle, my MBA at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and my BBA (Hons) from the University of Macau.
